Miniature wood turnings for tiny settings.

An extensive range of miniature wood turnings is available in 1/12th, 1/16th, 1/24th scales with some also available in 1/48th.

The range covers candlesticks, chambersticks, bowls, vases, goblets, darning mushrooms, potato mashers, cabbage presses, wooden spoons, mixing bowls, rolling pins, mortar and pestles, containers with removable lids and egg cups with and without eggs. Also available are are whips and tops, salt and pepper mills and skipping ropes.

A number of different woods are used and these include teak, yew, walnut, ebony and mahogany. In 1/24th scale however, yew, teak and ebony are the most suitable timbers for turning. In 1/48th, yew, boxwood and ebony are used. Many collectors in this scale prefer the first two as they are lighter and show up better in the smaller rooms.
