Important Note Regarding Furniture
The problems of the past two years have resulted in a big back-log of orders. Under the circumstances we have reluctantly decided that we cannot take orders for furniture or commissions for the foreseeable future. Our other pieces are not affected.
48th Scale Update
The new range of accessories launched at Miniatura was extremely well received to say the least. In fact, most items had sold out early on the Saturday afternoon. In view of this, we will have a bigger stock for the Kensington Dollshouse Festival in May along with further new pieces including a cauldron and bottles.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding in what has been a very difficult 2 years for us. Unfortunately the legacy of one problem caused us to pull out of the York fair in late November and, for the foreseeable future, we will be unable to exhibit at this event. For 2011 we will only be attending Miniatura and the Kensington Dollshouse Festival as shown on our fairs page.
Hopefully we should be able to catch up on our orders over the coming months and thank those customers who have had to wait longer for their orders than we would have liked for their patience.
On a more positive note, we have extended our range of 24th scale lighting and hope to have the lights displayed on the web site very soon. Our range of wood turnings, in all scales, continues to expand as do items in 48th. Miniatura in March will see the launch of a new range of household accessories in this scale including things such as kettles, pans, sinks, and tin baths. All being well these will appear on the web site in due course.
48th Scale
We have now added 48th scale items to the range of pewter plates that we make. The pieces are:-
Small Plate £1.00 each (1/8 inch[3mm] dia.) Large Plate £0.80 each ( 5/3 inch [4mm] dia) Small Bowl £0.80 each (1/8 inch [3mm] dia.) Large Bowl £0.80 each ( 5/3 inch [4mm] dia)
All are available in an antique finish at £0.75 extra per plate.
In addition to the plates and bowls, we are also making a goblet at £1.75 each and a tankard at £2.25 each.
