Sometimes called a monks bench, this piece can be used as a chair or table depending upon whether the top is in a horizontal or vertical position. Our pieces are made in oak and are available with a circular or rectangular top. Illustration shown on chair page.

Tea, Tripod and Wine Tables
A piece of furniture originating from the Georgian period which can be used for a number of decorative purposes. It is available in walnut as well as the more traditional mahogany of this period. Three different sizes are available each with it’s own name. There are many variations on the name depending upon which book or authority is consulted. The term tripod table can be taken as a generic term. Our wine table is the smallest and the tripod version the largest.
