These pages illustrate our current product range as well as some examples of past commissions. If you cannot find what you want, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Our work has gained a reputation for it’s quality and standard, as well as attention to detail. With our wealth of model making experience, we can usually make just what you want.
With the exception of dolls houses which are made to order, we make an ever expanding range of furniture, room boxes, wood turnings, pewter plates and
accessories. From time to time special or one off pieces are made and these are available at fairs or on this site.
All pieces shown are available in 1/12th, 1/16th and 1/24th scale. Until fairly recently, there has been little demand for items in 1/16th and consequently pieces in this scale are made to order and sizes are not shown on this site. Should you require any item in this scale, we are more than happy to provide sizes or further details. A range of wood turnings is also available in 1/48th scale and future developments in this scale include room boxes and furniture.

Having made the point about 1/16th above, we have recently begun to receive enquiries from people who have acquired old Triang houses, which are to this scale. Many are wishing to furnish or refurbish these houses. If you need help in this area please get in touch and we will be happy to talk to you.
Having a love of trees and woodland, we, like many others, take environmental issues seriously and take care in our source of materials. Much of our furniture is made from native English hardwoods such as oak and yew. We are fortunate in being able to source most of this timber fairly locally via a tree surgeon and from specimens which have had to be felled due to their condition. We often know the exact source of a tree and an
example of this is our current stock of yew. This came from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at Bretton near Wakefield which is the home to a number of works by Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth. Other hardwoods such as mahogany are obtained second hand where possible and re-used. If not, we ensure it comes from sustainable sources and carries the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label. Any man-made boards that we use such as plywood or MDF also carry the FSC label.
Despite the fact that the use of Imperial measurements has been virtually banned in England by the European Union, we continue to use this form of measure for our houses and miniature furniture. The standard international scales of 1/12th, 1/16th, 1/24th, 1/48th etc. are Imperial scales. The pieces we copy or base our work on were made using Imperial measurements and are in feet and inches. It makes sense therefore to use this form of measurement in our work. We do appreciate however that some of our customers, particularly those in continental Europe, are not familiar with our form of measure and we have included sizes in metric measurements as well.
In accordance with EU regulations, all of our pieces are intended for adult collectors. They are not toys and are not suitable for children under the age of 14.
If you wish to contact us you may do so by letter, telephone or e-mail. Telephone calls are welcome at any reasonable time (up to 2 p.m. Pacific Time), including weekends. You are most welcome to visit out workshop in order to talk about your requirements or simply to have a look at our current work and where it is made. However, please telephone beforehand in order to make arrangements and ensure we will be there. We have many customers who continue to buy items or commission pieces long after their first order. Some have become established friends!
Commissions are welcome and we are happy to make anything from small items through to complete houses.
