A 1/12th scale Georgian house made for the school museum service of Kirklees Metropolitan Council. The house had a dual role being used as a traditional child’s dolls house as well as a teaching aid. Because of this it had to be historically correct as well as being strong enough to be handled by children. In addition, it had to conform to toy safety regulations.

It was supplied fully furnished and the furniture had to be accurate as well as being capable of handling by children. It was one of a series which illustrated the development of houses and their contents over the centuries.
